Chiropractic Techniques
The basis of chiropractic treatment is the manipulation of joints, commonly referred to as an adjustment. This could involve a quick, gentle thrust into a joint making a 'popping' sound or a slower mobilization of a joint that could produce no sound at all. The different approach to joint mobilization is what separates chiropractic techniques.
Our doctors routinely put into practice several different techniques to serve our patients. Different techniques are chosen based on the patient's age, their condition, and in some cases the patient's preference.
Techniques commonly used at our clinic are Diversified, Cox Flexion Distraction, Thompson, and Activator.
